The short version is designed for on-line cable profiling or monitoring with external power supply. There is space for internal RAM memory minimum 128 kB - maximum 1 MB.
The long version is designed for on-line cable profiling as well as off-line profiling in a rope or wire.
The internal 12 volt DC power supply allows continuous operation approximately 4 hours. Down-load software automatically controls the operation you wish to arrange.
The longer version has space for a fluxegate compass and a dual-axis inclinometer.

AQUA-16 is often delivered as a tested and calibrated system with probe, sea cable, WINCH-3 having 10 slip rings, interconnection cable, computer suit case, computer and software. Both profiling and monitoring is possible.
The hand instrument AQUAMAT RS-232 displays your
measurements in engineering units and communicates RS-423 either to a computer or to the RAM memory.
The general RAM memory AQUAMAT RAM1M is capable of storing your data.
