OXYGEN SENSOR - AQOX- GAL150.
The AQUAMATIC oxygen sensor
AQOX-GAL150 is a "Galvanic cell" type that offers the
most advanced design of oxygen electrodes available for both
profiling and monitoring.
The sensing element consists of a Zinc tube anode which encircles
the centred plastic body where the
cathode (a silver wire) is sealed in the middle. The sensor is
filled with electrolyte and
covered by a thin membrane. A double thermistor technology result
in automatically temperature compensation of the sensor it self.
The Zinc anode acts as a reference cell, providing a constant
potential with respect to the cathode.
The cathode, where oxygen is consumed or reduced, is separated
from the sample to be analyzed by a thin layer of electrolyte and
a special thin composite membrane.
Features include a pressure stable and waterproof construction
designed for easy maintenance at sea. Small dimensions, high accuracy and good long
time stability. No warm up time.
The construction permits extended periods of oxygen measurements.
The electronic has built-in sensor separation (isolated
amplifier) for fast performance at different applications. The
sensor it self deliver a voltage output at approximately 25 m
volt.
